AIA provides members with tools and resources to assist them in their careers and business as well as engaging civic and government leaders and the public to find solutions to pressing issues facing our communities, institutions, nation, and world. They advocate for the value of architecture and give architects the resources they need to do their best work. Our work drives positive change through the power of design.
In addition, to its values, the Institute has developed a series of statements that clarify its position on key issues facing the profession, including issues of diversity and inclusion, climate change, immigration, infrastructure, sexual harassment, sustainability and school design and safety.
