America By the Numbers

Futuro founder and Emmy-winning reporter Maria Hinojosa wanted to create media that reflected America’s changing demographic, transforming from majority white to majority Latino within the next 25 years. From LGBTQ communities, to immigrants to millennials-- all demographics shaping our current culture and the faces of our future—Hinojosa profiled individuals within these groups and more, with the most recent update centered on voters of color before the 2016 Presidential Election.
