The Aztec word for “clan,” the tenets of Calpulli are driven by the spirit of community and collective uplift. Their now-signature performance of “Boda Mexicana,” translated as “Mexican Wedding,” combines themes of romantic love, family and culture that is easily interpreted across all experiences as it weaves folk history and traditional rituals.
